Want healthy, shiny and silky hair? Add these foods to your daily diet

Let’s accept! We all dream of having thick and strong hair.  And, most of us have tried everything – from popping up biotin pills to applying all those complicated hair masks.  However, hair experts, suggest eating healthy is the most important step to score those healthy and shiny strands. 

Here is the list of food items which one should eat religiously for a healthy scalp.

Pumpkin seeds   
These tiny little seeds are an excellent source of vitamin A and zinc, which provide strength and body to hair.  And being rich in vitamin B especially Biotin, these help to grow hair. So lovely ladies, just put them into the bowl of salad to work them into your diet.  



















Carrot
This beautiful vegetable is a wonderful source of beta carotene, the originator of vitamin A. And, the good thing is that it is sweet and tasty. You don’t have to actually force yourself to eat it. Hence, you can be sure of healthy hair if you are munching on carrot every day.  


 



















Radish
Radish is a delicious and spicy veggie which you can even eat raw. Rich in vitamin C, zinc and sulfur, this promotes growth of healthy strands.  So, gorge on this beauty food as much as you can and let everyone wonder what’s the secret of those shiny strands. 


















Cucumber
Yes, cucumber is nature’s beauty gift to us. Other than hydrating and cleansing your skin, it also helps in growing thick and shiny hair. Loaded with silicon, it hydrates scalp and leads to long, thick and healthy hair. Do we need to mention few more reasons to motivate you to eat this wonder food? Hope not.
So just chop few into your salad and eat them every day. 

















Walnut
Apart from being rich in biotin and vitamin E, these crunchy and delicious nuts are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. It prevents your cells from DNA damage and also provides shield from the sun. Walnuts also contain copper, which provides rich color to your hair and make them lustrous.
