Add Nail Care to Your Beauty Regime

Soft, clean and beautiful hands are a pleasure to behold. No matter how many manicure sessions you attend to smooth and soften your hands, dirty and unclean nails will negate all efforts. Poorly kept nails will make your hands look ugly, even though the latter are healthy and well cared of. Following are some tips to help you keep your nails clean, healthy and strong:

For improving strength- Soak your nails in warm olive Oil for 20 minutes on alternate days. This will harden your nails and make them stronger.

For stained nails- This technique is popularly used in hotels and restaurants to clean nail tips. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice in a cup of water and soak your nails for few minutes. This can remove stains and dirt from your nails instantly!

DO NOT remove cuticles- It is not a good idea to remove the cuticles from your nails, as it will make the nail susceptible to infection. Rather, you should make use of good quality cuticle oil and gently push back the cuticles.

For brittle nails- Wear nail paints or at least a colorless base coat regularly to avoid unnecessary breakage.
