Getting ready for a party? Better start
an hour or two in advance. A full face make up requires at least
dedicated 30 minutes to put on. But who has that kind of time?
Try one of these get-gorgeous quick
tips instead. After all, you don't want to be late to the party.
First and foremost identify the areas
that need a little extra attention and are most time taking. The key
is to enhance your best features and make your not-so-good features a
little subdued.
A woman's eyes and smile tend to catch
the most attention. Another feature that can make or break your
complete look is your hair. Wear them according to the type and place
of the party. Do not go over-board and as far as possible try to keep
it natural looking and classy.
Lets start with applying a basic
moisturizer followed by a primer and then foundation that matches
your skin-tone. Do not cake your face. The secret is to do your
everyday makeup, then apply an illuminating lotion with a subtle
sheen in three areas: the tops of your cheekbones, just under your
brows, and on the inner corners of your eyes. This creates an
over-all glow that looks natural.
Next, enhance your eyes with a swipe of
liquid liner or a regular black pencil, right along the lash line,
inner just to the outer corner. If you have big beautiful eyes avoid
making the lining too thick.
Time to work on that pout now. First,
prep your lips with a balm (it sheers out the color), then apply the
lipstick with your finger for a softer effect. Make sure the lip
liner and lip colour are not five shades apart. If you are going for
a bold or bright shade, play down the rest of your face. Deep-orange,
plum and fuchsia shades are a more modern way to rock the bold lip
look.
A matching or contrasting (whatever
your style is) shade of nail paint, a bit of blush and soft eye
shadow are all you need to complete the look.
At last wear your hair whatever way is most comfortable for you. You do not want to fuss over settling them down the entire time or run to the washroom every fifteen minutes to check if they look fine.

Voila, you're good to go!
